Online BoomStash Archive when logged in as a Pro user you will see favourite buttons, read later, and the summaries will have the longer Briefing reports that you see in the Briefing Summary PDF Report.

When you sign in with Patreon, BoomStash checks whether your Patreon account has Pro access for the BoomStash campaign.

If it does, BoomStash unlocks:

member-only podcast summaries
longer briefing summaries where available
favourite episodes
"For later" episode saving
favourite podcast tracking
"My Stash" section, where your saved podcasts and episodes are collected

This makes it easier to build a personal research queue from the episodes that matter to you.

Why Patreon

Patreon gives us a straightforward way to support the site without creating a separate payment system.

Patreon also sends you summary emails when available and you can access PDFs and historic content easily on their site or app.

You sign in with the Patreon account you already use. BoomStash uses Patreon to confirm your supporter status, then uses its own secure session to show the member features.

We do not store Patreon access tokens.

BoomStash stores the minimum membership facts needed to decide whether your account should have Pro access, such as the Patreon user id, campaign id, patron status, and entitlement amount.

Who Gets Pro Access

Pro access is available when your Patreon membership is active and you are on the BoomStash Power User tier.

If your Patreon account does not currently qualify, BoomStash will show a sign-up page with a link to join:

patreon.com/boomstash

After joining or upgrading, sign in again with Patreon and BoomStash will refresh your access.

My Stash

With My Stash you can:

mark podcast episodes to read later
add favourite episodes
track favourite podcasts

The stash buttons only appear for active Pro users. If you are signed in but your Patreon membership does not qualify yet, the My Stash page will explain how to join BoomStash on Patreon.

A Better Way To Scan Podcasts

BoomStash is not trying to replace listening to podcasts.

It is trying to help you decide what deserves your attention.

Your time is precious. We want to help maximise the value from the time you spend studying podcasts.

The Pro summaries are there for the episodes where a short overview is not enough. They help you move from "this sounds interesting" to "this is worth my time" much faster.
